Given how terrible the old EU was about having to assign IMPORTANT SIGNIFICANCE to every fucking background detail and nameless extra, I'm hoping they never will. Anything to keep that trend from re-infesting itself is a good thing.

They could dedicate an entire movie to explain how he got his bloodstripes though. It could tie in with a video game, comic book series, a novel and even a soundtrack just like Shadows of the Empire.

And then a sequel to explain how he got his yellow bloodstripes.

Around 10 years ago I was DM'ing a Star Wars roleplaying game and one of my players was adamant that "Collerian bloodstripe pants" should be a special item in the game so invented these.

Corellian bloodstripes pants.

AC 0
+ 2 to Piloting(freighters)
+ 1 to charm social class(Royalty)
- 1 to charm species(Hutt)
- 2 to resist carbon-freezing.

So now I want those pants
