Hate to break it to ya, but while bagels and jews are often tied together, most jews I know (including myself) don't considder a bagel to be a major piece of our culture! Really, even if somebody wants to eat a sandwich made out of bread and Matzah with pork and cheese during passover, many couldn't care less if the person did it, provided they didn't bring it into their own house.'tis a bit of a slap in the face to the Jewish. I supose it really depends on the person you ask though. A rabid Jew may demand blood for such an insult but another my just laugh at the irony.
Wait....Matzah tasting GOOD? Or even better...Matzah having TASTE? For spiritual reasons I may eat this, but the fact of the matter is that it boils down to baked water and flour.
