So do the Netherlands, and weed is legal there. Belgium is just a cheaper, more boring copy.

Best description of DeGaulle I've heard so far was "That French sea going abortion of a carrier." :)

Oh, I did some research; this attorney is a stellar individual who has been hired by Fidel Castro to defend him in human rights abuse trials.

And in other news today a group of Elite Belgian soldiers invaded the East Coast today. The Elitre "Waffle Brigade" stormed times square and began covering everything in a variety of toppings, ranging from the sticky to the delicious. No word yet on how the U.S. will retaliate but PResident Bush has alreayd taken the first steps by establishing Belgium as a member of the Legion of Doom ...errr... Axis of Evil.

Saddam butchers civilians en masse, the U.S. kills small amounts of civilians by accident, while acting with due care. Nice to see this guy has his priorities straight.
If Saddam ever gets caught, he wil most definately be in deep shit with world authorities. Trick is, just because the United States sees itself as a "parent figure" doesnt mean that if they do something wrong that screws people over in a method against the law, that they can't be prosecuted.

Take depleted uranium weapons for instance. Tell me what you will about them "not being dangerous". Then go look at both the rates of birth defects and radiation levels in iraq, and look at pictures of the people in iraq exposed to these "non-dangerous" weapons. If someone needs to be held accountable for this and other crimes, then so be it. If Saddam is liable, so is every other leader of any other country.

Fine, but at this point there is no evidence that the Coalition Forces conducted themselves with anything less than due care and absolute regard for civilian life, and there's no reason to believe there is (unless you have an agenda, but parasitic leftist attorneys clearly are above having agendas).

Of course, and those birth defects couldn't possibily be caused by malnutrition, poor access to medicine, contamination of the water supply, or any of the other factors that are a much more likely cause of birth defects than DU, which in fact has not been proven to be a substantial cause of them, could they?

DU is hardly benign, but it is hardly the nightmare substance the anti-American pricks make it out to be. There are American soldiers who have gotten DU exposure far exceeding that of any Iraqi, but I don't see American soldiers popping out deformed babies left and right.
