Truthfully, I'm probably already there. The phrase "....snot nosed punks" preceeded by a colorful metaphor pops into my head quite frequently these days.Johonebesus wrote:Hell, I'm already there and I'm not even 30.Tsyroc wrote:I think I'm considering applying for my crochety old man license early. "Ass-end of Generation X." Not that has a good ring to it!GrandMasterTerwynn wrote:Not quite. '80 and '81 form the ass-end of Generation X.. After that it's the current generation. Which is currently the <insert cutesy title> generation.
It almost makes me ashamed I wasn't born 20 years earlier. At least then my generation wouldn't have such a stupid name. It's just like finding a name for the decade we're in: No name has been chosen, and all the choices sound crappy.Gandalf wrote:I think my generation (b. 1985-ish) are apparently called the "Dot Com Generation".

Anyway, why can't they pick a more honest and descriptive name for the newest generation?
I think I'll stick with "The Dot Com Generation" and "This decade" now that I've heard those suggestions.Gandalf wrote:The Simpsons generation?Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr.
