Anti-depressants are a two-edged sword. On one hand they make you stable enough to continue on with day to day operations. On the other hand they screw up your emotions to the point where you dont know what you feel. Im on mild dosages (50mg Zoloft) but even thats enough to make you feel like a happy zombie...I hate em....neccesary evil my ass...

Sorry to hear about the lithium verilon, its not the most ideal meds in the world. :?
If apathy could be converted to energy, Australia would have an Unlimited power source.

FOr what it's worth ver, a friend of mine in HS was prescribed lithium, and it really changed his life for the better. It took awhile to get the dosage right, and yeah, a lot of it sucked for him (blood tests, friends that weren't really friends after all), but overall his life improved since he could devote his energy to things other than his emotional state.

From one emotionally volatile maniac to another, cheers, and I'm sending some good juju your way in the form of happy thoughts :)
Well, the concentration on other issues is one thing I am hoping for.. I really don't like the idea of knowing what kind of mood swings I'm going through, because it's all hellish..

yeah, thats what I was on. I think I was on twice that, tho. with trazadone and zyprexa, it added up to 120.5 mgs or so daily. >_<
Well, I am taking 600 mg of lithium, as the measurements are much different for this meds.. [shrugs]
