Quite on the contrary, the gravity of the DS2 would be negligable, particularly when you are inside of it. Assuming 900km diameter and 1/10 the density of iron, the DS2 would be about 1/18000 the mass of Earth.

Still, if you're flying in a very small tunnel at over 30 km/s, that little amount of gravity (lack of maneuverability) can end you life pretty quick.
