I imagine they look something like either one of the Marvel battlecruisers, or one of the Dark Empire cruisers with an Acclamator-esque tower.

God, I hate those terms. Tom Veitch used them extensively in Dark Empire and I kept asking myself, "Why doesn't he just refer to it as the Force?"

The constant differentiation between the "good" and "dark" sides of the Force has gotten out of hand and it just bugs me. In ANH, Vader didn't say, "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Dark Side's Sith Magic."
