Coke is my aqua vitae, I drink it like water. It is the drink of the gods.

Same here, I can't stand regular water anymore.

Yes, I know. I was pointing out that since Dr. Pepper and Coke are the same company, buying one does not harm the other.

I thought Dr Pepper was a Pepsi product, and Mr Pibb was Coca-Cola? If I want a Dr Pepper, I have to find a Pepsi vending machine, as Coke machines always have Mr Pibb. Fountain drinks tend to follow a similar pattern, though they change up more. Maybe it depends on locality, and Pepsi bottles Dr Pepper around here.
Dr Pepper is my favorite soda that's easily obtainable... I'll go to 7-Eleven and get a Double Gulp refill and put a vanilla flavor shot in... Vanilla Dr Pepper. Beat that.
(And since I prefer Pepsi to Coke, I'd probably prefer Vanilla Pepsi to Vanilla Coke... although I do prefer Vanilla Coke to regular Pepsi.)

Actually, it technically does. That's one of the reasons why Coca Cola dropped Tab in most markets when they introduced Diet Coke.
Anyway, I have a can of Diet Dr. Pepper right here and upon examination found the following:
A Product of Dr Pepper Company
Canned by the American Bottling Company . . . under the authority of Dr Pepper Company

The Coca-Cola website lists Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper as Coca-Cola brands...but in 'select markets'.

I love Pepsi Vanilla though. It rocks. I used to get vanilla cokes at the waffle house and the deny's. Places like that. but man, when coke started putting out thier own i was all over it. however it sucked ass. yeah. so what if pepsi didnt 'originate' the drink. fuck off. it's a hell of a lot better.

Pepsi is sweet and has no bite (or character). That's why it's good for little kids.

Well personally, it sounds kind of weird. I mean, lemon cola and vanilla don't seem like they would mix very well...

I don't have much of a preference, but given a choice I'll probably pick Coca-Cola over Pepsi.
Tommy's only serves Pepsi products, and has only served Pepsi since they opened back in 1946. But that's fine, since I'm there for the burgers, not the soda...

I don't like soda very much at all. I drink water or alcohol. Of course, I'll drink a coke if it has rum in it. Never heard of a rum and pepsi. Ergo, coke wins.

In a pinch you can put rum in anything, including more rum.

Normal price for a 33cl can of coke is 10skr....

It tasted like 7-Up when you were looking at it, and like regular Pepsi when you weren't.

A 2 liter jug of
vanilla is 5 kronor while a can of Coke is 10 kronor???
BTW, Fresca and Ginger Ale are the soft drinks of the gods.
Cola is what I use to clean the corrosion off of the terminals on car batteries.

Personally, I'm a Pepsi drinker. I like the taste of Pepsi over Coke. I find it much sweeter.
And that is the reason I avoid Pepsi like the plagues. Too sweet for my taste. The only Pepsi product I will drink is Mountain Dew.

Wrong, Dr Pepper is owned by Mid continental bottling, like 7 up, Mr Pibb is owned by The Coca Cola Corp.

If you had bothered to read the rest of the thread, you would have noted that a) Spanky has already come to that conclusion and b) I mentioned that Dr. Pepper was listed as a Coca-Cola brand 'in select markets'.

I don't mind Pepsi...but it really has no bite, and does not go well with alcohol.
So in the end I drink more Coke...that and for some reason Coke goes much better with flavors(I mean Malt shops serve Coke with[insert flavor])

Copying Coke with the vanilla taste is dumb, but i still like Pepsi over Coke.
