I believe this thread's been done before, but I'm going to have to go with the same nomination this time as every other time this topic has come up:
Neon Exodus Evangelion. You will never find a more aggravating Mary Sue anywhere. I mean, the whole concept just makes you want to explode: the son of Lara Croft and Fox Mulder (that's right, the Tomb Raider lady and the X-Files nut) is summoned to work for NERV at their headquarters in Worcester-3 (no, not Tokyo, of course....
), where he's ever-so-talented and popular and l33t, and....
What's worse about NXE is the people who pop up and actually seem to think this giant steaming turd is a decent 'fic.
At least nobody defends that Sasami one....*shudder*
