What is the most wonderful place on Earth to visit?

In NA, best spot for my money is NYC. It's a great town, and you can have fun there no matter how long or not long you are staying.

But a European tour is still the best for me. I've done it three times, and I'd still take that over going to some exotic land any day.
One of the great things about going to Europe is that you can spend relatively very little if you want. In other words, the vacations are scalable. For example, I could take the cheapest possible one-way ticket to Paris, and then proceed to tour the continent by bike/train/foot/bus, staying in youth hostels and such. Or, I could jet over on the Concorde, glam it up playing three card monte in Monte Carlo and renting an Italian villa. Well, minus the Concorde part.
But you get the picture. My mom is actually thinking of renting an Italian villa some summer soon; it's not that expensive if you go in with a few other families (not a timeshare, you actually all go at the same time). That doesn't sound like the peak of fun to me, but it certainly is an option.
