ie Lightsaber feat will only give you +1 to hit and +2 to damage if you are weilding saber(s), and vice versa for Melee.
For me...I went with Flurry, Two or Duel, and Toughness...add Master Speed(and for me it's the only skill other then Push that needs to be mastered...Push is better then anything given it hurts about as much as Lightning but it stuns which allows you and your crew to mop up hordes of enemies in seconds).
hell yeah flurry rocks, I max it out first thing before adding any other feat. the critical strike is pretty good because it can stun your opponent, but flurry give more chances to hit.

Sorry for the thread Necromancy.
Just finished my Soldier/Sentinel TOD for the darkside. Now I just have to replay it to the lightside.
Any difference in choosing female characters in this game?

Some dialogue difference...Carth will dig your hot bod
though it's sad...Carth has a full romance with your dark and light...in other words it has an ending...while the guy has no real conclusion with Bastila. I mean not any words of Love means nothing to the Sith...nothing?!...
Also women are a little more persuasive in terms of non intimidation tactics in the Persude option.

Which is exactly why I decided to play another Male again on my second time through. I hate Carth so much, I couldn't stand the thought of actually wanting to work that part of the storyline.
Spoiler:
I sooo loved killing Mission (whiny bitch) and watching Carth run off like a whimp when I annouced that I was the Dark Lord reborn. I still wish I could have killed him though.

Is there anyway to keep the annoying goody-goodies with you when you turn evil? Not that I care that much about Mission or Carth(not at all really), but I'd kind of like to have the jedi with me.

Nope.
But you get your broad back to fight on your side. So you get one Jedi with you.

Actually SWG is not KOTOR online. KOTOR takes place 4k years before the empire (Or new republic...or seomthing like that.... Anyway vader wasn't even a wet dream to his great great great great great great great Grandfather's father during KOTOR. SWG is just after the battle of Yavin and the destruction of the death star by rebel terrorists. How they could bring themselves to MURDER thousands of loyal imperial citizens is beyond me. Perhaps they were trying to prove a point? And all the Rebel propaganda surrounding the destruction of alderaan? Pfft. The rebel did that, with their massive war machine. The so-called "Death Star" was merely a scientific research vessel. The greatest one ever built, IMHO. Superlaser indeed!
Long live our glorious emporer!!!

hey is there a way to kill Carth when playing through on the DARK side? I had Zaalabar kill Mission, but his ass turned on me in the Star Forge and I had to put him down. I want to kill Carth next time though because his whiny ass just pisses me off, on Taris(or anywhere) when I try to extort more money out of people and then kill them he won't let me and lets them go, I want him to suffer for his insolence.

Rented it last week. Logged in about fourteen hours and bearly scratched the game. Just started the search for the Star Forge and started on Kashyyyk.
On a slight spoiler note...
On the map on Dantooine, you have Kashyyyk, Tatooine, some water world, the Sith World that starts with a 'K'. Thats five worlds.
Now when doing the little tests to get into the room with the map, you're asked what three types of worlds are life accepting and what three worlds are death invocing.
So Kashyyk, Dantooine, and the water world are the life ones. The Sith world and Tatoonine are two of the death type worlds. That leaves one left so I assume that that world is the one with the Star Forge on it. What planet was missing from the map?
Its got to be a barren world to keep with the pattern. Is it one that is consistent with Star Wars lore? Or is it a new (made for the game) world?

I wouldn't say the last land is barren....more tropical. But it alludes more to the people residing there then say the planet itself, but I could see the allusion.
I would spoil too much if I said why I think it's classified as barren.

The problem is they made it an intricate part...might as well give half the game away

.
And BTW what is your starting character class?

I am officially frightened.
Normally,I'm stuck on a military base, and the computers there seem to frown at good wholesom American pastimes, such as looking at pornography, and cursing at stupidity(I am still waiting for this site to be officially off-limits, but I appear to have slipped under their radar as the only person on post who comes here). The practical result of this is that it is pretty much impossible for me to check on certain sites, in this case Something Awful.
Since I am home right now, and am free to get into whatever degenerate activity I want, after the requisite 8-12 hours of staring at porn, I went over to SA, to do some random scanning. Happening upon the Game review section, I noticed they reviewed KotOR.
They gave it a positive score.

Of 44 out of 50
For the unitiated, the usual scoring system rates characteristics from -1 to -10. There is no other positive score in the entire games section.

More quasi-necromancy!
Is my copy of the game the only one that doesn't want to give out the items you are supposed to get when you win ten Pazaak games in a row with certain people? The dialogue occured like I was supposed to receive it, but no item was forthcoming.
Also, I seem to have done something weird, because on my latest run through the game, I haven't been given the option to buy the really expensive stuff from Mikla Dorn. Does anyone know why?

The Pazaak bit is a fuck up on Bioware's part(get the PC...apparently has many fixes). It was all over their boards the few weeks the game came out and the developers said they fucked up.

Dunno...if all went down, shouldn't have happened. Bug
Wouldn't be the first?
