Damn, I'm sorry. I love my cat so much I don't even think of him as an animal. I talk to him, I know his personality... hell, it's like we're a part of each other, whenever I go away he drives my mother insane because he misses me.

On one hand I don't want to be around when he dies, so I don't have to face it completely, but on the other hand I don't want him to die missing me. Fuck.

Wow, that sucks. My condolences. Losing a pet is very hard.

I know how you feel, I've lost peacocks several times, and for those that probly haven't raised a peacock they imprint very well to humans and are quite affectionate, even in maturity.
