Perhaps the load times weren't yet optimized for the Beta?

AAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!

Don't remind me of those fucking aimbots in Unreal Tournament!

Some people suck. It's a difficulty factor. I think it's a nice option for people to have, help them get used to the controls.

Half-Life has Autoaim.

That's because the XBox isn't chugging around an operating system at the same time, and why I bought an XBox in the first place. :) I noticed the slow-down in the beta also.

That sounds a bit glib - the hardware on an Xbox is obsolete by PC standards, and Halo isn't very hard on the system requirements. I'm not sure why it should load slower, unless its porting lazyness or just an unfinished beta. Didn't anyone actually buy the retail version? Are the load times still a bit too long?

I don't think it needs a coop, mouse aiming makes it almost too easy, i made it through the beta in way less than 2 hours in the setting before legendary (don't remember the name)
The point is you don't buy games these days because of their ooooooooh so engaging stories (sarcasm if you didn't notice) People buy games so they can compete and generally enjoy them with their mates...can you honestly say that something like halo bunged up on insane difficulty with three mates on a lan backing you up -isn't- going to be fun?

It's what games these days lack

Of course, console optimization couldn't have ANYTHING to do with it, nosirree...
