I know first hand how your stuff really get treated..:p
So do I. I worked for them for about 12 hours over 2 days
as a temp christmas seasonal job before I told them to go fuck
themselves (my back was hurting the fuck out of me after
just 30 minutes and one truck unloaded)

EDIT: it was UPS

No offense sheppy but your full of shit,UPS can't and won't hire "Temp" workers.

For these three reasons.

1)UPS is unionized (Teamsters.)
2)It specifically says on page 38of the UPS union contract book.(Well the one I had 2001 issue.) No temp labour will be hired.(The union considers it to be taking "Work away" from us.)
3)UPS wages all start at 10 bucks US.(No one hires temp workers for twice min wage.)

Now if you wanna tell me "UPS hired me to start working as a part time employee during the Xmas season and then continue to work part time after the Xmas season.)

That I might actuallly buy,UPS only hires part time if your a warehouse worker.(The reason is anything over 5 hours is considered over time.)

Yep, part of the fine print was that I had to join the Teamsters.

Well, the employment ad said "Seasonal work"

Want me to scan in and post my UPS worker ID (assuming I can find it?)

USPS:

So I'm a relay for a friend who doesn't want it known they're recieving a care package from someone.

We get the package, and it has been beaten up quite a bit. Open it up, half the shit that was supposed to be in there is missing. Goddamnit. Granted it was probably the machinery fucking up, but still... that really made our day.

UPS:

One of my friends got a job with them doing loading/unloading and loves it.

Not a horror story of myself per se, but I do have an interesting tale. See aparently the UPS guy that was coming to my house didn't like dogs. I had a Jack Russell Terrier at the time, which just happens to be one of the most stubborn, territorial dogs out there and will not allow a stranger on the property without a proper greeting.

So my dog runs out as usual to greet the UPS guy only this time the guy is pissed off for some reason and decides to kick my dog across the lawn for getting underfoot. Spike (my dog) was not used to this sort of treatment, so he decided to respond as any good dog should: he attacked. I mean, you've never seen a little dog so pissed in all his life. Spike jumped on this guy and just tore him to pieces. By the time I got him off the man's clothes were torn and Spike even drew blood on his arm. The man ran off after that and I never saw him again. Guess he was smart enough never to show his face again.

Funny thing is, now Spike will NEVER leave a mail delivery person alone. The FedEx guy happens to be a dog lover, but every time he comes up the driveway, Spike chases him and doesn't stop barking till he leaves. So thanks to a fucking idiot UPS guy, my dog has a permanent jones for the delivery people and he won't quit until he murders every last one.
