Just wondering.
I mostly just yell at the screen if I'm pissed off. I only bark "orders" if somehow my characters aren't doing them (like clicking on some point to make them walk but they do nothing - some kind of bug - and I start yelling "WALK BOBDAMMIT!", etc.
I also may yell "yes!" or just grunt and stuff.

Occasionally, I bemoan my lack of a microphone when playing Natural Selection. I occasionally vent obscenities when a really long respawn time comes up.

Yep. I usually curse the villains out when they fuck me up, scream in triumph when I beat someone that gave me trouble.

Lagmonster wrote:As an added thing to the above, if you want to feel like a total badass, go to one of those arcade machines where you can hold pistol-sized guns up on the long cords, put a coin in each side, and play both the 1st AND the 2nd player by yourself, guns akimbo. It works especially well on House of the Dead, and people will flock around to watch you do it, especially if you can target multiple things simultaneously and make it look good.
I did that once with Area51 and blazed my way through the whole thing.
I ususally don't do that though, since double the firepower = double the money needed to be spent.

I do. Plus, when my computer is running slow, I typically yell "Work faster, damn you!" and whip the monitor with the mouse cord.

Not usually, although i do make various anger sounds in FPS if i repeatedly die. Apart from on CS when the word is perpetually "BULLSHIT!" due to my connection.
I also say "ooooooooo" when i get a jammy kill, in fps.
in RTS games, it's usually "NO, go THERE" or "for fuck's sake, you complete RETARD" when talking to my idiot men AIs. "FFS, JUST DIE" when trying to kill a man with my harvester on ra2.
With TA it's "you dumbass" perpetually being talked at the construction vehicles. They annoy me so much now i only make like 3 of the vehicles, and the rest are planes and about 6 kbots.

All the time. More frequent in multiplayer shooters, like Day of Defeat:
"YOU FUCKING IDIOTS! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?! NO, DON'T SHOOT THE FUCKING NAZI, I'M SURE HE WON'T TRY TO BEAT US OR ANYTHING!"
or
"MOVE GODDAMNIT YOU STUPID SONS OF WHORES, ARE YOU TRYING TO LET THEM WIN?! CAPTURE A FUCKING POINT, HOLY SHIT DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MY FUCKING SEL- oh, um... good work team."
I usually have my microphone off.
But for both single and multiplayer, I fit the profile of "Mr. Gay" Vympel posted about a long time ago. Will edit in link:

Yeah, I yell at the screen when Im playing a game with a high frustration level.
Take Fallout. I just finished it a night or two ago. Your NPC's have a profound stupidity at times. I watched as my NPC's would not move 1 step to the side to shoot at the enemy and instead fill my back with lead.
"MOVE YOU STUPID FUCKERS! OH MY GOD! YOU ARE SO FUCKING STUPID!"
Same thing then an NPC sits in the doorway and does not move out of my way. Bad pathfinding seems to really make me mad.

Hey, I give verbal orders to bots in teamgame. The kind you can't send them even with the orders system... like 'Nice one', 'get the fuck DOWN!' and 'I need your gun'.
I'm at my worst in fleet tactics games. I become a schizophrenic representation of every flag officer. I'm sure I get some weird looks...

I only rarely mutter curses/chuckle/wince depending on the situation, but even then I consider it just muttering to myself.
If someone else is in the room or watching me play, I typically prefer to talk to them quite a bit while I play.

Well, I talk to everything, so I guess that includes the computer. SFC locks up for three minutes before the error reporting box comes up, "hurry up and crash you damned fairy rimming piece of crap." But I will cuss at my keys when they get tangled in my pocket, or a check when it doesn't want to tear out of the book, or a pen when it goes dry, or just refuses to write over a particular spot on the paper, or anything that doesn't do as it's supposed to. Likewise, I'll mutter encouragements to what ever I'm working with even when it's working fine. Basically, I talk to everything I engage with, whether it can talk back or not.

Oh yes.
Mainly when the computer does something particuarly rude, but also frequently when annoying enemies are vanquished, or I do something spectacularly hard (like unleashing particularly large and impressive weaponry for the first time...)

Na, I don't talk to the screen. Whether I just performed a 6 tanks+10 goliath Doom Drop in starcraft (or having one performed on me) I 'suffer in silence.' Same with TFC.
On the other hand, I DO laugh at the screen when someone I'm playing with says something funny. This happens quite often.

Sometimes I talk to the screen when I'm playing a game. Examples: When playing Half-Life, I like to make up my own dialogue. When I am playing Counter-Strike, I shout at the screen, but never actually turn on my mic, because my mic sucks.
On message boards:
Sometimes I will find myself saying out-loud what I am typing. Just. Like This.

I only yell at the monitor when it's being slow, taking forever to load something, or locking up. It's especially embarrasing when it turns out it could easily be fixed.

Yeah. I also smack the monitor sometimes, and a few years ago I busted my keyboard after getting frustrated with some homework.

When something really funny happens on screen, I laugh.
But I really don't say anything unless it's through voice chatting.
