At this point, I probably shouldn't go into the Batman/NGE crossover I've also worked on at various times...

Well all I can say is: don't be discouraged. If you play it out right, it could be good.

...Well, I guess all I can say now is if you're going to stray from continuity that much, you could have at least had some kind of warning or explanation beforehand. Otherwise it just throws everyone else off and makes them think you're open to correction and clarification. :?

Is that real Klingon? Did you take that off a dictionary or did you take that off your head?

Yes, it is real Klingon. And no, I just consulted my trusty little dictionary before doing so.

The moral highroad doesn't override faults and errors, only glazes over them. I'm sorry you don't know how things work here. good luck with the story, anyway I guess.

Indeed it will be - but only if Gray Davis wins the California recall.

Yeah, good luck, I suppose. At least you're good at writing dialogue and don't have any problems technical-wise.

Give Uts or I a ring if you ever have an Eva-related question, of course. ;)

EDIT: Oh, and do NOT mock people's signatures. It's petty.

On the contrary, I was complimenting him and

On the subj. of which, just one ? - How's life under Char's benevolent rule?

Kidding!

-I do have a serious ? for you. Do you believe the ideas that some fans have proposed by saying that Chairman Kiel was in fact either the Wandering Jew or even Cain? Personally, I wanted to believe this, but the flashback in episode 21 and the glimpse of a younger Chairman changed all that, at least for me anyway...

Okay, I was kidding about Gendou.

It will be Yui's spirit and get ready for some hardcore psychic encounters with Troi...

He is certainly not Cain or the wandering Jew. He was clearly younger in the ep. 21 flashback. It's just another silly idea some people have made up.

Uts is right about Keel Lorentz not being either Cain or the Wandering Jew (whose three most common names are Malchus, Cartaphilus and Ahasverus). The "Keel is Cain" thing is new to me, though I admit that I don't hang out in the Eva community. I do have a pet theory concerning Kaworu's origin, but it doesn't have any supporting evidence from the series and is more of a hypothesis than anything else...

Keep in mind that the religious icons and symbols used in Eva don't actually mean anything, and were used purely as plot devices and due to Christianity (and especially) Judaism's foreignness to the Japanese, because they looked cool (Eva's second director has said that if they knew Eva was going to be released in the West while they were making it, they might not have put them in).

So is it really going to be just Yui's spirit? That's certainly a hell of a lot better than Gendo.

As long as you don't have anything too farfetched happen like EVA-01 reactivate or give her a new body, it actually sounds like something interesting.

Yes, it will be Yui's spirit, in part because how Troi would react to contact with Mrs. Ikari is too good to pass up.

Do I want to interpret "hardcore psychic encounters with Troi"?

Uhh, not enough written for me to comment on it. I can say it doesn't look too horrible so far :P

Did you originally plan it that way or did you backpedal?

Can someone edit Spanky's huge laugh and the quotes of it so that the formatting is no longer messed up?

Looks like it won't be since it appears Arnold has won. This is a bleak day for California.

No, it will not be slash as was implied. Troi will be the featured character of the story.

It was always meant to be Yui; I just wanted to play the role of cryptic fairy godmother and see what kind of hell broke loose.

Hey, it's okay. It happens to me all the time. It's why I'm single and have no social life whatsover; I simply sit in my chamber of command and tpye away all day, being the nerd that I am.

One: The idea in and of itself is very intresting, and really depends on how well you manage to write it. I'll be keeping an eye on thsi fanfic, mostly just to see how it turns out incase I ever try my hand at Eva FF.

Two: There's an edit button for a reason. Make use of it.
