Matt and Trey Parker are canadian, IIRC...and I believe Gendy Tartakovsky is as well..I could be wrong, and I'm at work, so I can't check sources. Maybe some other highly motivated individual will gut-check my claims.

No, Matt and Trey are both from Utah/Colorado. They were CSU film students and got kicked out for making Cannibal: The Musical (aparently the Dean wasn't amused...) and they then went on to make South Park. Actually, I believe their animation studio is still in Colorado.

I keep seeing Wyrd Sisters on DVD at HMV, but never bought it. I only ever saw the last 5 minutes of the last episode on C4 once. Looked true to the books though, animation was like the games.

It had it's bad points. some of the actors (especially the witches) just didn't get it. But Christopher Lee was fantastic.

I really want all this stuff to be on TV now or at least on video and easier to get.

I know of a website that puts up Animals Of Farthing Wood eps every now and then. I loved Weasel.

Fairly certain that the Discoworld cartons are available. I have them recorded off the telly anyway.

Heh, they don't have all three series though. I hear the US got it imported but only as a single feature film 90 minutes long. Not only did they try to fit a 5 hour story into 90 minutes, they also made all the voice actors American and I heard they sounded horrible. Why do the US companies insist on making perfectly good ports into horrible things nothing like the original?

Don't eat the Neighbours and Roger and the Rotten Trolls. Without doubt, the two most entertaining programs ever to be spawned by CITV, aiming for adult/student comedy as well as children.

Best episodes of DetN include Rabbit falling off the Roof and thinking he was Obi Wan Kenobi. Best lines include:

"I have the brain of a criminal mastermind, I keep it in the freezer, next to mother."
Then later...
"Shut up mother, if you'd moved the turkey there'd be plenty of room..."

As a kid, I watched Inspector Gadget, definately. Animals of Farthing Wood as well, recently I've taken to disturbing people back home by doing the impressions of badger and moley together...mmmhmmm...

SHould have taped them when Channel 4 showed them like me then. For some damn fool reason i then went and taped over WS with Aliens even though i had spare tapes
