Too bad the useless piece of shit would melt if it fired at that rate for more then a fraction of a second and that any task that actual requires more then a few rounds would also require fire over a prolonged period. Also notice the tiny barrel length, you see if you fire too quickly with a barrel with a length sufficient to be militarily useful then you end up with multipul rounds in the barrel at once. That causes something very interesting to happen, the barrel warps and then explodes. You can reach rates of fire sufficient for this to happen with belt fed machine guns, which is yet another reason why Metalstorm is pointless.

And as much as I like guns, give me CG.10 Albany. Any ship, which was had its design justified by its capability to bombard any target with thermonuclear missiles is a winner in my book.

Yes, I am! I remind my wife from time to time that she married a nerd, although she vehemently denies it.
Nice to see you are still around we have not hear from you in a while. If I get some money soon Im gonna buy a nice set of binoculars or a spotting scope for hiking the East Bay hills. We all have our toys.
Ah, a nice trip to the NTC pulled me out of the loop, as a rotation to that lovely part of the planet does to anyone who graces its sand-filled terrain... Good to be back, but now the stuff that stayed out of sight comes crashing down with a vengeance: Multiple e-mails, phone messages, and "Hey, what about me?!" taskings have hit the ole desk, but alas Monday will keep it all waiting for me, so to the weekend! (raises glass).

As to my new toy, much to learn of it must I do, but a six-inch thick manual shall surely help shed light on its capabilities and limitations .... but dang, it looks like a nice toy!
