In Episode II, Yoda states that the Dark Side is clouding the sense of the Jedi. If that were the case, then if Palpatine is good enough at it, it would be trivial for him to hide his true intentions from the Jedi.
well, when Anakin and Obi-Wan are talking at the beginning of AoTC, Obi states that Palpatine is a politician and can't be trusted. Could that be a small sense that something is not right with him other than the whole senator part? And also look at Yoda react after he hears Palpatines speech about him being happy to see Amidala again.

Possibly, but they're going on few objective details from their point of view. It would be unwise for them to chase the Supreme Chancellor in earnest. And if they Palpatine has something he's hiding from them it's probably already gone off somewhere, again from their point of view. The implications of the Jedi or their middleman who collaspes under interrogation would ruin their reputation and they would likely become a hunted people. It also shows that they have no faith in the Republic.

Edit: Oh,yes I knew I had forgetton something. I'd doubt they would have the availiable manpower for such an long investigation.

I know its a little of topic but i think Palpatine is Padme's fathers cuzion or something because he repeats in AOTC that hes always happy to see Padme safe and in TPM he seemed to want Padme to be under security and be safe even though theres a possibility that he just wanted her to be around a specific place for a trap he planned

So because he showed fake political caring and is from the same planet, they are related?

That has to be some of the single most retarded logic I have ever heard of. Seriously, just don't talk anymore.

Of course you'd think that if Palpatine was really family, that Ruwee would go to him for information about how Padme is doing on Coruscant instead of Jamillia.
