Agian I state my case for Half-Life
Look at the pictures it spawned

I mean look Doom2? Link? Seriously, decent storys but they are mostly rehashs, they do have the touch but not as much as other games
Serious from Half-Life we get a Great Game, Plus Opposing Force, Blueshift, TFC, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat to name the top few
Over 10K Maps have been made for the Mods, Over 10 Million people have played it and at LEAST 200k people are playing it or one of its mods at any one time
I mean look at CS Condition Zero
Hard to belive thats the Quake II Engine isn't it?

More than any other game ever made, Half-Life has replayability...

Have you all forgotten about Castlevania?
I mean, where would we all have been without Castlevania?
It was Castlevania that brought mankind out of the stoneage!!

Warcraft 3 was a bit dissappointing. Its graphically cool, and a good story line, but the combat is not fluid like Starcraft. When there are lots of units on the map its really tough to cast a spell on a specific unit.
I give it a B, when most of their games are A's.

I cannot believe I forgot about Castlevania! And here I am wanting to pick up the latest for the GBA.
Gosh, I can't remember the name of this game... it was on the Genesis... you played a ninja (or was it a samarui) trying to find a princess. You would run and jump through a forest before getting to a building, all very medieval Asian-ish. I loved that game.
Oh, and one I want for my phone... Flicky
My list of Uber-games

Atari- Centipede and Space Invaders
NES- Zelda and Jackal, and (evils upon evils!) I have yet to try Final Fantasy
Genesis- Shining Force series, Shadowrun, and Earthworm Jim
SNES- Harvest Moon and Final Fantasy 2/3
N64- Goldeneye and Perfect Dark (My all-time favorite weapons and environment)
Playstation- Final Fantasy (All except 8 ), Grand Tourismo 2, and Armored Core
Dreamcast- Phantasy Star Online and Shenmue
Playstation 2- GTA 3, Grand Tourismo 3, Armored Core 2, Final Fantasy 10
X-Box- Morrowind, Halo, DOA 3 and I'm waiting for Ninja Gaiden
PC- Deus Ex, Warcraft 2, Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate series, Fallout Series, Freespace Series and I'm waiting for Deus Ex 2
My all-time favorite is: Deus Ex (Though if they get a free-style modern/futuristic RPG, that'll probably be it)
Quick Note: If you own an X-Box, DO NOT BUY DEAD TO RIGHTS! The most whoringly poor piece of shit adventure I've ever played.

Oh yes, and Castlevania is of course excellent, my favorite being Symphony of the Night. The N64 freaking nearly killed my love for the series though. And you might be referring to an older Ninja Gaiden Kelly.
Couple more notes:
I didn't particularly enjoy the Metal Gear Series
MB3 was fun, but, as stated before, quite repetitive
I've heard good things about Wasteland, and am tempted to search for it.
Another early PC game I forgot to mention: Star Control 2!
Excellent game

No, it's not Gaiden... damn, next time I'm at the beach, I'll have to check my games.
Another cool game: Klax.

There are so many games I consider to be great, such as.. Xenogears (best plot ever), Chrono Cross, Skies of Arcadia, Arc the Lad II, Star Ocean 1&2, Star Control 2, Persona 2 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (the King of Castlevania games, all Castlevania games are total and utter vile garbage when compared to SotN, so says I!!!

)

All time greatest games for me include Phantasy Star (the original and best), Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda (the original, LttP and OoT), Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 4, 5 and 6, Kirby's Adventure, Toejam and Earl, and Mega Man 3.
[EDIT] You'll have to excuse me; I'm more old-skool than most. The most advanced system I have is the PSX, and the only games I have for it are FF5 and 6 and Chrono Cross.

Since consoles and PCs have such different gaming styles, here are my top five for each.
FYI, my first console was an Atari 2600, which should date me quite properly. In addition, the only Sega system I've owned is the Dreamcast, so that's not as well represented as it could be.
Console:
5. Super Metroid (SNES)
4. Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
3. Valkyrie Profile (PSX)
2. Legend of Zelda (NES)
1. Xenogears (PSX)
PC:
5. Homeworld: Cataclysm
4. System Shock 2
3. Starcraft
2. Descent: Freespace
1. Deus Ex

I am sorry, but freespace 2 was much better. I loved that fucked up admiral. I wanted to fight him to establish a terran empire around polaris.

Most Honourable mention
Kabuki Quantum Fighter.
Both are NES games.

Which Zelda? The original or the sequel?
