There are wires but I haven't the slightest clue what to do with them.

Also, Is there a way to get the voice acting to work on windows?

If you're using a version of Windows that can boot to DOS, yes. :P

(Hey, that's how I originally played it!)

that game was so cool. i didn't end up finishing it. I've got the CD version in a Lucasarts pack from years ago with DOTT and Sam 'n' Max.

I remember getting past the desert and going past some underground place where i had to operate some machine to get a ball of some sort, but that's about it.

The rudder doesn't work when the sub is moving backwards. Bring it to a complete stop and make sure the little switch is in the up position, then start the sub again.

The voice acting only works if you have the voice expansion (by your question, you haven't it). A lot of games were produced that way, release one version, then if the game sells, release a sound expansion (Origin's Wing Commander and Strike Commander spring to mind).

I've never finished it, but what I played was pretty good. Although most of Indy's lines would have been more appropriate coming out of the mouth of Guybrush Threepwood than Indiana Jones.
