Bah, a controller with TWO analog sticks makes MUCH more sense when playing a FPS. Just because some people got weaned on Bond does not mean that it is a killer control scheme.

No it doesn't, the other "stick" is an eight-way POV hat. It has never to my knowledge been used as a second stick in an FPS environment (if it could, don't you think they WOULD have used it in Metroid Prime?).

Hrmm, guess you're right. Oh well, I'm not too fond of the analog stick aiming method anyway. The lock-on method used in Metroid was spot on in my opinion.

It's functional, but the problem is that it is vastly inferior to mouselook. If I could somehow get the mystical combination of controller and mouselook, it'd be frickin perfection.

Which is why it was specifically stated best CONSOLE FPS controls.

Mouselook, however, leads to the game being glorified point and click, rather than an immersive action game.

It's just like "playing" windows....
