I can actually see what PETA is trying to do. At this point in their existence, their primary goal is simply to draw a reaction--any reaction--out of people, and so all of their billboards, signs, commercials, etc. etc. etc. are designed to do that. They're actually surprisingly ineffective, given their controversial choices of subject matter.

As other posters have said, I'm no fan of the Catholic Church, but if it comes down to them vs. PETA then I'll recite the Lord's Prayer and ask for a swift destruction of the Church's enemies.

You know PETA has gone to far when you actually see anti-peta commercials on TV. Thats just what I beheld tonight on FNC.

It's all just a matter of time before one of them finds Homestarrunner.com and flips out because of a message on Marzipan's answering machine:

"Tofu is made from little baby seals."
-Strong Bad

Let the jihad begin!
