"Mug of beer and a plate of stew, please".
Your brought your food and drink.
"It's 4 silver for the the beer, and another 4 for the stew."

From the corner of his eye he watched as yet another elf enters the inn.
The bartender notices the high number of elves in the inn, seems to think about it, and shrugs. He then goes back to cleaning a glass.
He walks slowy towards the counter and orders a drink
Your given a drink.
"Four silver, like you didn't allready know."

Alyrium Denryle wrote:"Why thank you" Tsaroth said with a smile, meeting Keenen's gaze, and scanning his new friend slowly, from head to toe, which was a pretty good distance.

"The name's Tsaroth, and yours?" as he extended his hand
"Keenan Stuart," he answered as he shook his hand. When he pulled his hand back his fingernails, now more talons than nails, softly scraped along the sleek hand of Tsaroth.
He couldn't be interested... Could he?
As Keenen withdrew his hand, Tsaroth did the same, he really liked the claw scraping, and as he withdrew his hand, brushed his fingers on keenen's wrist.

"It is my pleasure to meet you Keenan. I was wondering, would you want to go bounty hunting with me? I am here on a Kobald hunt, and would love to have you accompany me."

The barkeep raises an eyebrow at that most unusual question.

Tsaroth looks over at the barkeep with a smug, amused expression, and raises his eyebrows suggestivly. He then chuckles and turns back to Keenan

A shiver went down his spline as Tsaroth's fingers brushed his wrist. A pleasant one, at that.
"Kobold hunting?" he mused. "Why not? Could be fun. You can handle a little fight?"

"Oh of course. I have a bow, and enough battle spells ready to make any Kobalds life a living hell."

"Ah well, then let's be about it," he smiled a very predatory smile, showing his not-quite-human teetch to Tsaroth. Most people would be looking appaled or shocked exactly by now...

Malakar watches the exchange between the draconic man and other elf, pondering his options. The elf has the look of a mage or sorceror about him..and the draconic man looks an able warrior. I might as well make my move. Malakar swings his legs deftly around his barstool, then stand ups and strecthes nonchanlantly. He tosses several silvers onto the countertop and walks slowly to the table where the draconic man and his companion are sitting. "I have a proposal, if you would like to hear of it." mutters Malakar under his breath in elvish to them. Malakar then walks straight past them and seats himself in a tiny booth at the back, his hand resting on the rapier hanging from his belt.

*right before the Elf ranger walks over*

"Alright, though, we do need a humanoid shield." Tsaroth said with a sheepish grin

"I know it is pathetic to say such things, but without a sword slinger to soak up the Kobalds attention, we are mincemeat when our defensive spells go out..."

He shivered at the signt of those teeth, they made his blood boil and worked perfectly with those eyes

"Oh, speak of Vecna... We were just discussing the very proposal you are probably about to make"

He looks over at the ranger, and begins speaking again

"We were just about to go Kobald hunting... Preferably after I memorized more battle spells, but I have enough to deal out plenty of death if we wish to leave now"

He did react, alright. But not the way others do... He smiled even more.
Still preocupied with Tsaroth, he belatedly turned his attention towards the other elf...
"Whatever that meant," Keenan snapped. He turned towards Tsaroth and asked him "What did he just say, dammit? No Elvish for me..."

Tsaroth then translates the conversation from Elven, to Draconic

"If we wish to keep low tones, for whatever reason, we need to find a common language."

He turned to the ranger

"Do you speak Draconic?"

+In the future, all speach that is not labeled "Speaking in (blah):" is assumed to be in common. This is important because, for example, Dahak couldn't have understood that elvish converstaion.+

He nodded towards Tsaroth, and answered in draconic. "Thanks for translation. We could need some additional backup." His left eyebrow quirked. "Brainy, aye? Didn't know you're speaking draconic..."

(in draconic)"Of course I speak in Draconic... most mages do, many ancient texts are written in it... And it is very handy toknow if ever speaking with a dragon, half dragon or... dragon's disciple for that matter" He said with a smile.

"Sorry for my surprise. I'm not used to people speaking Draconic. And that people are not frightened of what I am," he answered, still in draconic.

(in draconic) "No need to be sorry, most people never take the time to learn it. And education usually overcomes such... prejudices, against dragonkind. Dragons are beautiful creatures, and, may I add, so are you." He said with a voice tone that practically screams "I am interested"

(in draconic)
He blushed. Deeply. Which was something happening not all to often.
"Thanks, you're...relaxing on the eye, too."
He moved his hand slightly towards Tsaroth on the bar.

Malakar sits in his booth patiently, and pulls out a tiny wood harp and plukes a few strings as he waits to hear a reply from Keenan and Tasgaroth.

"Thank you"(in draconic) as he does the same, brushing Keenans hand before turning back to the other Elf

"I take it you dont speak Draconic then? well, if it is the Kobald bounty you wish to collect, it is public and we can speak in common if you wish. Otherwise, I will have to be an interpreter" switching back to common
