I'll resolve to stop tormenting my flatmates.
I see this lasting till I get home and they do something idiotic which should be about, say 5 min.

I've decided no longer to make serious resolutions.
This year I resolve to procure DNA from the future so that I can resurrect someone that hasn't been born yet.

It IS easier when you're down that low. TRUST ME on this one. I was there about two weeks ago.

I'm sure it is is. I've tried to quit twice this year laready but I tried to go cold turkey, and that just doens't work. At least not if you have friends that smoke or like to go out to bars. SO I've been gradually cutting back over the last two weeks, I plan to smoke on last cig on New Years Eve at 11:59 and that'll be it.

Good luck to you, and just think of the health and monetary benefits you will enjoy.

Thanks, and yeah that 3 to 4 dollars a day really adds up. As for the health benefits, yeah thats definetly something I need to consider, I never should have started sicne I already have both asthma and allergys, it's just abusing my lungs. But you don't think of those things when your fifteen, which is when I started.
Damn I've been smoking for six years, never thought about it before. Though I did quit for my senior year of HS but started again halfway through freshman year of college. Of course before college I didn't smoke as regularly or as heavily, as I did until recently (Couldn't smoke at home or school when I was younger).

I have just one: To not make some dumb resolution that I'm probably going to forget about by Febuary.

I'll probably have several:
1. Get a job at some point - this is not as much a New Year's Resolution as a goal I've set.
2. Continue revision of TWW.
3. Eliminate - or at least neutralize - any undesirable emotions which may be lurking around in my subconsciousness.
4. Spend less time on SD.Net. (hopefully, this will not be as hard as I think as I got a book of Robert E. Howard novellae for Christmas)
5. Not let myself get influenced by the USA's global mind-control network - if I can't help sabotaging it.
6. If possible, buy some demos or other releases by local rock groups. (my hometown, Roskilde, is actually host to a lot of amateur punk-rock bands)
7. Get a girlfriend before aforementioned global mind-control network is activated.
8. Become more literate in the field of cultural history
and I can probably add some more to my list.

1) Do better in college (ie: NOT miss fucking tests, damn, I can't believe I missed one...) and hopefully pull up my GPA after that damn Chemistry fiasco (killed me in HS, too; I'm just gonna stay far, far away from it).
2) Finally resolve this issue between me and the woman that I love, to see if, once and for all, she loves me back, so I can move on (finally) if not (not that it's likely to get me anywhere if I decide to move on, but who knows what'll happen if I actually try?).
That's about all I can think of.

The funniest thing you can do is to make resolutions for other people, and watch the fireworks
My personal resolution is to spend more time with friends and family, who I seem to have been alienating. I've got a few long-standing issues with people I want to clear up, and I'm going
try (probably not succeed) to eat better (no more Twinkies and Mountain Dew for breakfast).

1) Do better in math
2) Get a fucking spine and build up the nerve to tell someone how I feel, in no uncertain terms.
3) Start a group(either a school club or a college organization) devoted to evolution.
4) 4.0 gpa first semester in college.
