As to the original proposition, it really doesn't matter whether or not the crew members know how to build, say, a turbolaser, or if they know how to build the infastructure behind building said turbolaser, it matters if that information is in the computers of the ship. All the Borg would have to do would be to assimilate one crew member who has the clearance to access that information from the ship database ( assuming that info is in the database) and the Collective would have the information. As to what state of preperation the Collective would be in when the Imperials arrive, I would assume that they would immediately begin modifying the infastructure of the collective to assimilate the SW galaxy, based on the ST evidence that the Borg place priority on dealing with species that either represent the greatest threat to the collective, or present the greatest chance of gaining new technology.
Zsinj vs Borg with an Assimilated ISD.

Yeah thats why an Imperial Admiral and General Solo colabourated just to get rid of him For a start the Mon Remonda was one of the most advanced Mon Cal Cruisers in the fleet, able to go toe to toe with a Super Star Destroyer. Also consider that Zsinj was given a SSD by Palpy in the 1st place speaks something of his skills. Oh yeah and did you see the post where it said he'd conquered a thrid of the SW galaxy. Clearly the CV of a dumbass.Lex wrote:lol the Borg would win because Zsinj is so damn stupid that he lost his almost two SSD's and many ships vs. 1 x-wing squad and 4 or 5 old rebel ships
