Ok, the Mongols have showed up in Khazar- a ridiculous amount of them- and they're not attacking my adjacent province (Kiev)- which has a measly 960 men there. WTF? Come on, I want a glorious last stand!!! Cowards- I don't have ships to get the rest of my gloruious armies there (bloody Sicilians attacked the connecting fleets)- what's the problem?

Any game where you have AI support and that AI support causes you more grief than it gives out help. Especially in Star Wars games where you're in a starfighter.
In Final fantasy games, where some of the best weapons and side quests involve the most dull/repetitive,/worthless/(or any combination of those three) FUCkING mINI GAMES! Yes i'd love to dodge 200 lightning bolts in a row without getting to save partway through but I HAVE OTHER FUCKING THINGS TO DO! Or Cards, fucking cards! I hated it when Cards meant something because you just know the motherfuckers going to use some bullshit rule they luck out on no matter what the last card is.
Star wars: Rebellion, A game I truly enjoy except for the fact that using the Damn Death Star ruins your political favor in the important worlds no matter where you use it. Or the fact that the EMpire has to use diplomacy and conquest to get worlds other than freakin Coruscant! Or the fact that they Neuter the SSD compared to the "Bulwark Battlecruiser" good thing i have RebEd to fix that.
Football games in general recently seem to just fuck over defenses compeltely, and I also hate NFL games where a few players who were fellated each week on sportscenter get a little boost to their stats, meanwhile in real life their team misses the playoffs or they have an incredibly disappointing year.

Work permits when playing in the British leagues in Championship Manager!
Nothing is more annoying then finding the kid who's going to be the god of football and then not being able to get him because of the damn stupid work permit regulations !

See, I controlled the oceans by that point. Sicilians be damned.
As for why they won't attack, not certain. I intercepted them at Kazar with my initial force and slaughtered them wholesale with spearmen in the forests.

Ugh, I second that one. What is it with the FF series and annoying as fuck minigames? The whole reason behind console RPGs is telling a story and battling, not breeding and racing giant birds or playing underwater soccer! Why do they insist on putting in that shit? Games are supposed to be fun, not mindless tedium. It drives boarderline OCD completists like me utterly insane! Here's a clue: if the weapon you're trying to hide is so powerful that you have to make an annoying minigame that takes 5-10 hours to get it, maybe you just shouldn't make it that powerful!

Lucky- last night I attack them- after re-establishing sea lanes (just leapfrogging some barques to the appropriate places in a few turns); there was no forest on my map. It was a massive fuck-off cavalry battle. They lost badly- 3,000+ dead and 1,000 captured to my 777 dead. The other 3000 men in their army were captured after. Their Khan was killed n the opening minutes by my King- I should've set unit size to huge. As it was, the battle was 1hr and 10 mins long (285m time limit was set).

At least you guys aren't locked in an endless death struggle on the Ship's LAN with Hearts of Iron.
I'm the Soviet Union, and right now it's me, America, Britain and Australia are endlessly fighting the Germans and 'puter Axis . It's '42 and Germany finally crushed continental France, and the war in Poland against Germany is probably going to swing in the Germany's favor once they start rushing troops east.

42 and they only just crushed France?! Damn I usually pull that off in lightning speed as Germans. And by war in Poland do you mean what once was Poland or have they somehow not taken it by 42? Sounds like a bad German player.

Hey is there a game where the war can last, like, hundreds of years? with appropriate tech advances? (Not civilization, too much Micromanagement and nationbuilding.) I just want warwarwar. Like WWII starts in 39/40 and ends in 39/40 2039 or 2040, that is. where we're fighting Nazi germany and crushing communism at the same time....Or something.

Play Hearts of Iron on a difficult setting or with players and use the No Time Limit mod. I have one game as the Japanese at 1970 and Germany is still going strong against the Allies
