Well, here, in Romania, the last weekend was pretty stormy: blocked roads in half the country, powerful winds and in some places 2m height of snow ;). And mostlly -10 C in the day. It has been better for the last days, but the next weekend seems to be the same.

And my GF's sister is still stuck at my house but that's another story. I haven't seen this much snow in over 10 years, this is wonderful. Finally, a real winter. So...how much snow are you guys getting?
Just the right amount of snow....none at all.

Ah, do I love the Sunshine State? Why yes, yes I believe I do. :D

Right you are. Thanks! There's a thick coating on the ground now and its not supposed to stop until tommorow around 5 or 6AM.

It's more than enough snow, enough that I couldn't get home and had to stay with my sister's BF. And for letting me stay over at his place and eating all his food I have to help him shovel his driveway. And it's a 2 car driveway..bastard... :x

Obviously, you've never had the pleasure of a nighttime stroll with a girl when the snowflakes are softly falling all around you and the trees are covered with a blanket of sparkling white.

Two words: ski trips.

I like my free snow...and it being in my backyard persay.

My only problem is trudging through it but eh...the starlight and lights glistening off the ice covered white stuff makes for a wonderful sight.

Yes, the world covered in ice is very beautiful under the streetlights.

Until, of course, the weight of the ice on the power lines knocks out all the electricity. Which seems possible tonight, the way it's been sleeting.

They've been giving out weather forcasts saying "It's going to snow tomorrow!" for like the past 5 days. I am most unimpressed as it usualy snows on Dartmoor anywhere between Yule and Feburary and also because I like snow, it is fun to leave in my sisters bed and melt so when she looks in, she blames the dog.
Don't look at me like that.
I can be a complete child, but atleast I admit it.

I love snow. I want to move to Quebec so I can live in it most of the time and learn how to speak French fluently at the same time. RAH!!

Around that time I would probably utter something "fuck it's cold, I hate the winter"

Oh I hate it, woke up this morning and over the night it's been snowing like hell, real fun to get up at 07:30AM and shuffle snow in order to get the car out.

Thanks to snow and ice, I had no school today. bwahaah!
Where you are do they schedule enough regular school days so you can have a few snow days without having to make them up in the spring?

One of my schools had 9 snow days one year. While it did snow a lot the main problem was because most of the kids lived out of town and had to be bused in.

We had to make up some of the days during spring break and some more at the end of the school year.

There's an easy way out of that. Tell him he isn't getting any closer to a threesome with you and your sister by making you shovel snow.

Notice that I didn't say promise him anything just let him know this isn't a mark in his favor.

Quebec kicks ass- Hull, Montreal and Quebec are three of the most historic (and pretty) cities in North America.
