It would make a good little fanfic, if we could get everyone to agree on a rule of maximum power. No Photino birds, you know. But, if nesscicary, we could get some one to be like a ref.

Again, what you should look at is the STGOD. Go to the ASVS Fanfic Archive and read up on the logs of it. However, what you should try and keep in mind is that uber-powers are boring.

How about the Star Kingdom of Serenity at full strength when in her "build lots of strategic weapons" mode?

It'd certainly put all these little powers in their place, but I think it'd be donating to the spam.

And besides, I'd still win. I've got more planets than you have strategics!

I can cook the Beast's brain, you know.

I don't think you could outdo the my half decade of slowly coalesed wank, but I will agree that this thread is spam, and I will vote for a lock as well.

As a side note, is everyone else getting the sycophant kid vibe from 18 as well. No one should call me Sire hell, no one should call anyone sire, period. But thats just me digressing, can we have locky pleasy.

Erm... He just said to define parameters. I defined the parameter of "I win." He didn't word the rules carefully enough. :P

As somebody who have written an original fic, The Wormhole War, I will say that I refuse to enter its universe in this showdown, for following reasons:

1. No shielding. TWW ships don't have energy shields of any kind - they instead have armour plating which "absorbs" laser beams. However - there's a limit to how much this armour can take - and it only works against lasers.
2. Numerical disadvantage - the largest military power in TWW are the Xhatrr Dominion, which only holds one solar system and has less than 100 capital ships.
3. FTL travel - the only way of FTL travel in TWW are the Xhatrr Dominion's wormhole generator, which can only hold one wormhole open at the time.

As you can see, neither the Xril or the Jardra have a chance against the Empire and its equivalents, much less the Xeelee or the Culture.

Well it wouldn't be uber nacho cheese if everyone used a little moderation ;) but then what could I expect. My quick list was a little more powerfull in some ways than the empire but certainly not more powerfull overall. Man if you can't just do "sensible" - no what the hell am I talking about this is SD.net with stewart the fool of SDI.

Never mind...

Well if we can get the partisipants to agree not to freakout, it'd be cool. I still think it can work. Have all the most powerful races take on each other, decide a champion, the second most powerful fight, a champion is decided, and so on down the line.

Just like an STGOD.

Again, I'd suggest going to look at such. You can see people don't play within the rules whenever they can get away with it.

Or bring in the Psychonian Empire at it's peak. A universe controlled by unstable people that has battlestars. :)

Sounds like a tripple-thraet match!

Ok, what are the abilities of the Lost/Thousand Galaxy Protectorate, the Star Kingdom of Serenity, and the Psychonian Empire.

I think i know one, but i may be mistaken. However, if you can give me calcs, i can think of a damn good three-way battle consideringw hat they sound like. 8)

18-Till-I-Die wrote:Ok...so i found this thing called Perry-Rhodan. Wow  .

I think the Xeelee have just become someone's bitch. I base this on the fact that their main weapons are effectively teleporters with 4000gt warhead shells and black hole missiles that appear inside of your ship. Other than that i have little info. Anyone can add Perry-Rhodan, feel free.
German pulp series in constant print since 1961 with a continuing storyline and a new issue each week, more than 2200 so far.
linky, linky and [urlhttp://www.perry-rhodan-usa.com/]linky[/url] may help you evaluate it a bit. In parts it's more advanced than the Empire (hyperspace tech, hiding whole solar systems in the future, transgalactic travel etc.) but on the other hands its powers are mostly far smaller than the Empire.
There were a few threads to it here too.
