I am Turian/human, and since when are we supposed to be peaceful?

We are peacefull, right up until you make a crack about our lost homeworld, or show anything other then complete comtempt for the race that controls it, at which point it's 10,000 nightmare crusers to your homeworld.

they got bad hab on most planets it costs more to colonise and its harder to terraform. So they got a rather slow start.

peacefull races dont build nightmares

Take note any new players, when you hear anyone say this game is addictive, they bloody well mean it. Used to play it until i realised 3 hours a day on one game was too much. Although it is possibly the most frantic and fun game I've played on the net for ages (free to boot). Take a hint, research research as much as possible early on. You'll want it later.

That was with the old research code. Doesnt work anymore. The new code is A LOT more forgiving. The trick is to swap research techs now and than to make researching research cheaper

How do you move ships?

Leader: Meest
Empire: Explosions in the Sky
Race: Drall

Is anyone in the alliance oomari yet? might be smart to stack our races bonuses together.

By the way, how does the Drall special missles work, shields go down says it takes over the ship, in what sense?

a)fleet control >>> move
or

you can only ally with people you can see so therefore you can only choose your allies by who you can see

the drall fist has a certain % of chance to take any ship over (so it becomes yours) if the enemie ship got its shields down. (beams are better actually since all the damage done goes to shields)

Cool, quick question, on my move fleet options, only my homeplanet is available to move to. I'm I doing something wrong?

How do I use the starmap? When I click on the one on the main page, I get a bunch of dots that do nothing. When I use the menu starmap, I get a pritty picture of stars, but it dosn't do anything.

try by trial and error. Star Map is only handy for moving ships and look at where planets are. All the rest you can do in the menu

The blue planets are yours
grey = no-ones
green = ally
yellow = neutral player
orange = hostile player



you should only see 1 blue and a few greys now

Right, I see one blue dot with 4 grey. But how do I move ships?

The 404 error object not found screen comes up in Mozilla, but not in IE...dunno why, but you guys are gonna have to use IE for this game. sorry

I must give up the great mozilla, and go back to IE?
