The ESB Infinite had a better ending if you ask me.

. Very well then, Yoda's idea of revenge or whatever is crashing the Death Star into Coruscant killing billions if not trillions of people.
Yes,
that was bizarre. I can't see Master Yoda doing such an act.
We don't have to. Being Infinities, it is of course completely non-canon

I have no idea what was going on in this story, but shouldn't the energy in the hypermatter reactor of the DS be more than enough to blow up a planet?

Wow. That's a pretty big boom. So what exactly is this series called? It's a comic or is it a graphic novel (I'm assuming graphic novels are longer comics)? And how exactly did Yoda get on the DS in the first place?

It is called Star Wars Infinities and is a comic set of 4, but you can buy it in the book form with all 4 comics in one. Yoda used mind tricks to get on, can't explain in greater detail because I got to go. BUt I am sure someone else can.

Then again, with the million+ people Yoda was already mind tricking I guess he could mind trick the shield security people on the planet.
IIRC, Yoda did not pull a mass Mind Trick, he only used it on a number of Stormtroopers, probably a few officers, and Tarkin. I seem to recall in one picture that some of the Death Star's crew was trying to get into the control room where Yoda and Tarkin was locked in.
The other scene that made me cringe was the one where the DS 1 suddenly had off axis firing abilities and wiped out an entire fleet of ISD's using the super laser (one ship at a time apparently).
It was months after Yavin, and it's hardly impossible that along with whatever repairs they did after the misfire (caused by Luke's proton torps) and then the full powered shot made despite the misfire, they might have added in the off-axis firing capability that they were planning to eventually implement anyway.
Also, it was the SSDs that the Death Star was firing at (to begin with, at least).

The ESB Infinities comic was a huge waste of time, if you ask me.
To be honest though, my general of the Infinities isn't very high at all...
Man, that artwork back there was pretty bad.

That's true. Other than what happens to Luke and a few cool bits at the end it is pretty forgetable.

Agreed. They didn't take things as far as they could have and overall everything comes across as a highlight real more than an actual story.

Argee again. What's odd is the artist has some pretty good stuff involving characters and action. He seems to have a real problem with the large scale stuff.
