No, it's beak was a few inches longer and as black as the devils heart! It was also curved alittle. Bird was also a bit bigger.

Edit: How was I owned, exactly?
It was either a crow or a grackle, and I'm leaning more towards crow.

Oh and starlings were released by a guy who wanted every bird mentioned in Shakespeare flying around in the United States, and since starlings were mentioned offhandledly in one line in one of the historical plays (I think one of the Henries) he brought over a hundred and released them in New York.

That idiot nearly caused the extinction of bluebirds across the continent.

Sounds like it good old surplus soviet hardware to the resecue!

May I present the Soviet ZSU 23x4 it is equipped with four radar-guided 23mm guns capable of engaging avian targets up to thirty six meters in diameter all the way down to the pint sized littler birds such as a the infamous "Humming Bird"

Quite a few of these are aviable supluss in most old former Soviet Reupiblics as well as the few hundred up for sale now with the fall of Iraq
That's delicious. Waiting for a German Ghepard to show up.

Bah, I deal with birds that couldn't have fit through that window, even if there wasn't an air conditioner in there, at the place I volunteer. This, and it sounds like a crow to me due to the size of it's beak, is nothing, and should have been easy to catch in a box or with a bedsheet.

Every try to catch a bat? Them fuckers are agile.

No no, the shotgun is for the flocks of screaming starlings when they invade the backyard. Inside the house you use a sling or a baseball, or a tennis racket if you don't have good aim.

Aya wrote:So, how was everyone else's day?
Well, I woke up, went to school, came home, procrastinated my homework, and eventually did it, while listening to music.

EDIT: And about the bird, that's why I practice throwing knives. Well, okay it's not, but it's a good excuse, and still fun.
