Its broken because you're effectively freaking level 40 by the time you should be level 20. Is this that hard to understand? Try telling me its not broken again and I will spell it out point by point, and then I'll flame you. The only reason I'm not hitting you with the 2x4 of Blatant Obviousness now is because I'm feeling merciful tonight for some reason
It tis not broken 8) It is equivical to multiclassing in 2nd edition. or did you think that a Fighter12/wizard12 was broken back in the day too?
You are not 40th level by the time that you are 20th, you are 1-3 below that. It can lead to brokeness, but that is not gestalt its self to blame.
Erm... The idea behind multiclassing as it is leaves you at the same character level. Take a gestalt cleric/wizard and he has all abilities of both a cleric and a wizard at any given level. It is broken because you freaking smash single classed characters of the same level, whereas normal multiclass rules do not have that problem automatically. For example, my current character in the FR campaign. He's a multiclass paladin/rogue. If he was gestalt, he'd have the abilities of a 22nd level paladin and a 22nd level rogue, as opposed to the abilities of a 15th level paladin and a 7th level rogue. Do you not see how that is vastly more powerful?

1-3 below that? How's that? You gain all abilities of both classes at every level. There's no skipping. 20+20=40. Didn't they teach you this in the first grade?

I won't be able to play tommorow, unless it is from 9-midnight, due to prior arrangements, but I can get my character done by tommorow.
Feats that I plan on taking from Song and Silence-Quicker Than the Eye,Flick of the Wrist, and Expert Tacticion

I am going to play the feat rogue from UA.

If you can list the feat rogue's class features, such as special abilities, BAB, etc here, I'll review it and see whether or not to allow it.
Oh, and 9-12 is just fine. :)

Rogue it says in the UA that you should be facing things that are a few CRs ahead of you, so if the party is facing CR 22s and that number is few ahead of you, that makes you about 1-3 below the rest of the party. Also it still wouldn't equal a 40th level character. you get the best of both, not every thing from both. a !st level Cleric Fighter gets 10hp, not 18. A fort save of +2, not +4.

I admit that it can lead to brokeness, with Paladin 2, Monk 1, Cleric12, swashbucker 3, fighter 4, Hexblade1, Barb1,

It'll be right here, but I'll try to get combat encounters to be played over http://www.openrpg.com. Just dl Python, wxpython, and then OpenRPG itself. When combat comes up, Ill set up a server and then we'll all log on (hopefully ;) )
