Is that even possible?

With a Batmobile that looks like that, I think so. One plus to Forever is that some of them could actually act (i.e., Silverstone and Thurman).

Batman and Robin was the last Batman movie. Thurman and Silverstone weren't in Forever.

The only thing that kept me alive through that movie was Chris O'Donnell in that Robin-outfit

Christian bale is lookin alot like peter north there, but on to the important topic, wow, the batmobile looks messed up. I hope they scrap using that for the batmobile before the movie is finished. perhaps they could let him run around on a tricicle because even that would be more acceptible then that penis compensator. whos the director of this movie anyways?

Because the title actually makes sense.

Really, they don't title the movie that introduces Robin as Batman and Robin? Yet they title the movie where he becomes Nightwing as Batman and Robin? What the hell?

And with the addition of another hero with bat in the name, Batman Forever would have made more sense as the title of the last one.

That's the cleverest thing to come out of this movie IMO.

You're kidding right?

Thurman was absolutely horrible hamming it up as Poison Ivy (and wasn't she in Batman & Robin not Batman Forever).

They've had a lot of decent actors in the movies but they either let them or encouraged them to ham it up. Jim Carey was a ham from the moment they introduced Edward Nigma and Tommy Lee Jones kept trying to one up him when he should have been playing Two Face straight. Things just went down hill with the next movie, the only thing I thought was tolerable was Arnold as Mr. Freeze amd thats only took his horrible puns as a sort of gallows humor. Really the only thing good about that movie was the freeze ray effect.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind the new Batmobile. It's not as good as the BTAS one, for sure, but it's not bad. It's basically the same one as in Dark Knight Returns, which is fine by me.

Arnold would have been okay as Mr. Freeze had the character and the costume been played straight.

Shumacher made a horrible choice when he decided to make his two films purposely campy, since coming right off Burton's films, they were like an insult.

Forever was pretty bad, but B&R was literally unwatchable, and I've only seen bits and pieces of it. Only good joke was Batman's credit card, and in concept only.

Actually, the first Batmobile shouldn't have had them.

Batman is supposed to despise guns.

People, people, people, don't blame the actors for what was the director's and producer's fault for the latter two Batman flicks. Frankly, I think that, with a good director - say, Tim Burton, maybe? - Val Kilmer coulda been just as good a Batman/Bruce as Keaton.

I agree.
They're nearly all usually good actors that turned in the worst performances of their lives due to Shumacher making some bad judgement calls.

Carrey and Jones, fo example, would have been great in a Tim Burton film, IMO.

I liked Christian Bale in Equilibrium, but i don't think he looks right for Batman, his chin's too pointy.

Yes, that was already discussed. >_>

And she CAN act. I never said that it was good acting in that movie. The overall screenplay could have been MUCH better.
