A Castle. On Sydney Heads. With an airstrip big enough for my new Private Gulfstream IV. And a helicopter so I can go to Sydney Main airport to jump into my private 757-200 without having to go on a road.

Inside the castle there is a huge room with huge internet access terminals connected to Vatsim and Employees manning them for Vatsim 12 hours a day lol. (see this for the idea, or in a larger version of same. Also my own 757 Full Cat D simulator for my own flight training (you don't think I'm not going to fly those aircraft I own myself do you? lol)

I also set up a server for Vatsim myself, and have IT specialists to maintain it, and write new programs for it, such as an automated ATIS/Voice ATIS system, and area CTAF/MBZ frequency areas.

Any left over money goes into making more money :P with about a 5% skim off for charaties.

We also make an Operation Get Elli... whatever may occur from that, though I'd like to keep it all legal.

Easy solution.. make it an adult themed amusement park... eer, for adults.
Choadland or Anal Acres perhaps? Where you can ride the Super Shaft Cockcoaster down the love tunnel and splashdown into the Diaphragm of Doom!

I'd build the Resident Evil Spencer mansion exactly as envisioned and set up my own biotech company.

Create and spread the new religion of ESB, modelled after the Roman Catholic Church, except that the Holy Trinity will consist of Sodomy, Cunnilingus and Fellatio, the penance for any sin will be "a right hard fucking in the ass" and instead of the Virgin Mary, worship will be made to Eva Habermann. With semen.

How come no one has said they'd build a full-scale model of a stardestroyer? :-)

Too expensive. But that Star Destroyer would be the only one the Enterprise could EVER defeat.

Too expensive. And can you imagine what building a Star Destroyer with Microsoft tech would mean? The Enterprise might actually defeat one!
LOL. A full-scale model couldn't cost more than a few billion me's-think considering only a few levels and rooms would actually be made.. and you buy the land in like Kansas..

You know, in light of re-reading TTSD's previous posts and smacking myself in the head for somehow missing the word "model" in the post, I have decided to change my previous post.

And I don't think the model would be structurally stable... We don't have neutronium, and in a gravitational field it'd probably collapse in on itself under its own weight.

I'd build the ultimate gaming community. a hundred acres of buildings filled with LAN Gaming systems featuring the most advanced ones money can buy. And of course my own private fleet of jets, each equipped with wireless lans and gaming systems to cater to the wealthy and for my own personal amusement. I'd also ask hugh hefner if i could rent out the playmates.

The sequal to TA2 would no longer be in doubt. And the canonality of a few TA articles

ANd for that type of money I'm sure I can get GPGs to develop it too (if nothing else they could slap the TA2 IP over their next RTS game)

I would fund the mightiest strategy game ever. It would be like a cross between Master of Orion 2, the personality of Starcraft, the cool chunky explosions of Total Annihilation, the RPGness of Galactic Civilisations, and the look of Homeworld.

I'd also try to give it an incomprehensible name, like "Pax Imperia: Imminent Domain."

And I'll play it in my orbiting Doom Sphere with a harem of choice lasses of virtue true. Muahahaha!

Ah, that felt good...

I'd finally be able to order cheese on my whopper.... j/k

I don't really know. It'd involve spending time and money on whatever hobby I'm into at the moment (which is paintball and biking). So I guess getting the most kick-a** gun and bike would give satisfaction, along with all the spare time I'd have to devote to them. Sure, I'd buy an expensive house (or two), some awsome cars, and have a few adventures traveling, but it'd be the hobbies that'd give the most satisfaction.

One Hovercraft Engine-thing
Large quantities of purple and yellow paint.

Combine to taste - or lack of.

Make sure the parents and siblings on both sides are set for life, have (or adopt) a couple children, buy a house in Britian for when we want to visit, set up a couple small businesses in WV so friends have jobs....

Oh.. and deck out the US house and the Britain house with SOTA computer and entertainment equipment, and have cookouts or dinners for friends every month.

I'm surprised neither of you mentioned the most obvious thing you could do with that kind of money: buy Square-Enix. ;)

Have a world class concert hall built so that all my fave musicians will drop by and use it for their concerts. Build a house with a dedicated listening room for my multi-million dollar stereo system. Weapons, lots of weapons, knives, swords, guns, tanks, artillery, all fully functional of course. I'll also buy an Iowa class battleship and run it as a museum, but I'll keep the main guns functional so I can shoot things for fun every now & then.

That should leave me with quite a few billion left over, I'll invest some in a lucritive sleazy venture of some sort to make a pile more money, and I'll use the rest to buy off some politicians and bend things closer to where I like them.

Probably not, the Nautilus was a great speaker when it came out, but it's quite dated now and there are many that have now surpassed it. In fact the current B&W 800 series is said to better the Nautilus in several areas.

Personally I'd go with the Avantgarde Trio complete with Basshorns as pictured below. I recently heard the Avantgarde Uno which is their entry level speaker and I've been forced to re-evaluate a ton of stuff which I thought I knew about audio. From the midrange on up they combined the speed & detail of electrostatic speakers with the power & slam of a conventional dynamic speaker. Very fun to listen to.
