In 7th grade, I almost got suspended.

Anyway, There's a kid in my school who got detention for saying "Cleveland sucks", and I live in PA!

i´ve had a whole bunch at parties in the evening but then i started boxing and never had one again.
start boxing, it keeps you out of fights.

Never suspended, one detention completed (talked my way around 20 or so others). Many fights at school. Detention awarded for missing a tutor group/home room/whatever you want to call it meeting, that we had been told was cancelled. I was instructed to write a paper on the responsibilities of senior students (this was my final year at school, back in 99). I wrote a 5 page tirade about how crap, unjust and biased the school was. This paper was handed in to the vice pricipal and I'm assuming that given my reputation at the school (scholarship student with some problems with authority) it found its way not only to the principal but around the staff room. After that roughly half the teachers treated me with disdain (or even more) and the other half seemed to have had some respect for me.

Moral of the story, make the punishment punish them.

Damn I forgot the rest of the world uses dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy like the US. Damn this country is messed up.

Hey its your record but its not the worst thing in the world, Heck I was suspended a few times, nearly got in trouble with the law once(Of course they could prove nothing heh heh ) but hey the US Goverment Trusts me despite all that, Even gave me a gun and access to thier Nuclear Secrets HA HA HA FOOLISH AMERICANS!

I've always been closer to getting in trouble with the law and other authorities than I was to getting in trouble at school.

never been in trouble with the law besides one speeding ticket, and that was 3 km/h too fast. 30 marks *grmbl*

oh, no i forgot. i got fined 50 marks once for peeing in public places.

i was totally drunk on loads and loads of vodka and thought it would be a smart idea to take a piss right next to a police station.
that was a cool night. i´ve still got the ticket. it´s from 9/14/00

4 times in 4 years? you suck man, i still hold the record in california for the most consecutive suspention days, as well as the first (and to my knowledge, only) behavior-induced grade jump.

and you got bitchslapped to boot... yeesh... if someone slapped me they'd get pasted.

This whole thing reminds me of a time in 7th grade. I was running to class and and a little SOB named Niel tripped me. I went flying into the side of biulding, He laughed, said "sorry Ben" and went to class. I called him a bastard while I was bleeding on the ground and wincing in pain. I reported the incidence. I got put in ICR for calling him a bastard and had to write an apology letter, he got put in ICR for half the time that I did, and I got no apology letter.

I never got suspended or in any fights at school. I did few things that would have gotten me suspended, like lighting fireworks in the hallways during the passing periods. Hehehe. I remember one of the vice principals putting out a smoke bomb with a fire extinguisher. Heheh. that was funny.

I never got suspended form school. Most I ever got was ISS...for being late to class.

I was constantly on the border of being assigned detention. Mostly for being late and humming/whistling softly in class.

Because I did it CONSTANTLY. Even after being told to be quiet 3/4 times, I'd sometimes keep going. I'm horribly behaved when I have a song in my head.

Um.........no.

I got good grades in my classes, so they let it ride most of the time. It also helped me attract the eye of a certain young woman...but that's a story for another time.

I nearly got suspended once... hit the guy next to me w/ my folded up jacket during class...

He was just lucky I hadn't stuck any books in my pocket before hand...

Ahh, yes...Suspension. I remember, back in the day, when the Thurston shooting was only two years before, when I swore at and gave the bird to a this ass-muncher of a kid. The counselor considered it a physical "threat" of harm, and I was suspended a week for it. I have never respected the administration at our school since.
