Actually, it's supposedly DS9 Federation levels. But people only paid attention to that where their opponents were concerned.

Ya know, this doesn't inspire much confidence in the STGOD...

Ahh, ASVS' STGOD MKII, is a bit above ENT tech level and it is played out in the Milky Way galaxy (plus another but it is rarely used).

My mistake, I was thinking of STGOD2 for a second. STGOD4 is a Star Trek tech level game.

Ya know, this doesn't inspire much confidence in the STGOD...
Go back to your corner.

I think you're a good player and you make a good contribution to the game. I'm rather displeased with anyone might have said that they wanted you gone permanently, but I'd rather get past that ugly bit of business and move on.

For myself, I did not desire to see Stormbringer gone has a player. I feel he is a good player and by all rights should be welcome to the STGOD (hell he helped start this, if not him then who?)

My objection centered on his handling of the mod matter and the threats that were leveled. That is all.

Damn, I just get back from vacation and the game is postponed until September.

I don't think anyone ever wanted stormbringer to leave (I certainly didn't)

The only person who's playing ability was attacked was.... damn, what was his name? The guy we had the poll for.

I think it fitting if everyone forgets his name.

Back and falsifying data again.

Remember what happened last time you falsified data and pissed everybody off? You got rid of the Arcane Empire, but were also promptly smashed. If you want to keep on trading your nation for Alyrium's, its your business, but the trade will be enforced.

No, Rogue, you see, by that point everyone already was pissed at the Overseer. This is rather different.

Of course, you can continue screaming that the Alliance can beat any who oppose it, but that sort of Hubris is well-documented in the STGOD universes.

I don't say we can beat any who oppose us. I say that we can beat any single nation that opposes us. Unless you seriously think you could take on every member nation all by yourself? Not even the Ousters could manage that.

Aly's case for war is pretty thin, here. He does have one, but he has to make it more explicit. Diplomatically, he has to WORK for this one. If his response to the Etern is "shut up, you're tiny, and my massive alliance will crush you," problems will ensue. The Etern will be attacked, and now the "good guys" in the UPA have attacked an independent nation for no other reason than it questioned the invasion of another world. This will lead to a massive war. the UPA can take on any single nation. But can it take on EVERY single nation?

Who's going to crush them for questioning? If they actually use force over this, we will take the proper actions, but I for one will refuse to participate in the unlikely event that someone in the UPA decides to launch a preemptive strike made over a diplomatic objection. This is a defensive alliance. Until someone tries to whack one of our nations, we don't steamroll anybody.

And I'd like to point out that, contrary to several in-game statements made, the attack against the pirates was not an Alliance action. We weren't even informed beforehand.

I think the other power bloc here, being the Veithan Accord, isn't looking just as forgiving at this pirate attack and the added power grab.
Though I stay, of course, as neutral as possible :D
