This is XP Home, too. As for doing what comes next, whatever that is, I can't help you with that. I don't need to do it, so I'm not gonna mess with it and potentially fuck something up.

control panel --> network and internet connections -->

pick a task
set up or change net connection
create a connection to the network at your workplace
set up or change your home or small office network

control panel icon
internet options
network connections

Choose network connections, then follow what Ice told you.

Or just switch to Classic mode, and make this a whole lot easier.
