Seriously, I'm lucky if I or any of my artist friends can sell our work for $200, and our stuff looks like what it's supposed to be. We even threw in genuine emotional impact at no extra cost while greatly reducing knee-jerk anti-authoritarian political messages that cheapen art and still don't come near $50,000.

But then, that's why I gave up on art.
These were just some private galleries near Pier 39. One was displaying a whole load of Salvador Dali's work, and the other had a few Picasso's lying around.
