Not to put too fine a point on it, but whichever of you decides to actually take on these goofballs (and I would suggest someone ask Wong nicely if he would do it, since he knows the contents of these kinds of debates better than most of us), don't be afraid to privately ask us for help if you find yourself in need of information to address specific points you are unfamiliar with. For example, I can answer a lot of questions about general biology, microbiology, immunology and virology, as well as middle-eastern ancient history and mythology.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
All i'm saying is more than sufficient to deal with those fickwits in every area of relevance, bar bible study.

I'm a Pre-Min (Pre-Ministerial Candidate). Might be a rather liberal denomination, but I'm no God-hating Atheist . I do think someone older and with more knowledge than me would be a good idea, though, since I'm just now taking a basic Christian beliefs course (and wanting to denounce some of the heretics on CW, but I'd get banned in half a heartbeat if I did that). Also, depending on when this debate is, I might be out of town. Winter holidays are four weeks this year, which is good (long breaks are always good) and bad (I'll probably be away from the board for most of that time).

Verilon, you'd be great on the Judge's Panel. You've debated these guys before and have the background. If The Dark won't be able to join us (since his schedule looks iffy) then as soon as we have a fifth, we're golden.
NecronLord, interested? You saw what the plan was; to grade on a scale of 1-10 (1 is worst, 10 is best) on Evidence; Convincing; Topicality; and Civility (as if they've earned that, but we have higher standards).

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:

CW is actually a good place to debate. I have consistently called creationists there ignorant and liers without any problem from the mods because I have highlighted the actual points clearly.
Don't just assume that because they are creationists they will get rid of alternatives. Put forward a good argument and people there will debate you.
Having said that, any help you want, just ask.

Don't just assume that because they are creationists they will get rid of alternatives. Put forward a good argument and people there will debate you.
We don't. We conclude that they will dismiss the alternatives because they have banned several members of this board for nothing more than harsh language and sexual orientation, not to mention trying to get this board shut down. SBollinger is completely unreasonable, saying that the debate winner should be determined by mods, that mods should have editing authority for debate posts, and a slew of other ridiculous debate rules.

This is something that I have been reading about here. I am still fact gathering. It seems that SBollinger (a quite recent Mod) is beginning to take a harder line than before.

What's your point? It doesn't matter why those people were banned and if they deserved it. It does matter that some new people were banned and that they didn't deserve it.

The ideas are not distorted....I have enough family hounding me about becoming a priest as it is.
.
