Yes I voted and no I didn't go vote in Shep's district to see him with hat since I did have to wrok and trying to pretend I lived 20 miles south of where I do would've been difficult in the extreme, I didn't have the time

Anyway I'm all about Ehrlich over KKT, I'm sick of the administration and she wa evey bit a part of it even if she was only the Lt.Gov.

Already voted. Most of my selections were Republicans, though I threw in with the occasional Democrat on the state level (primarily due to the obnoxious behavior of the local Reps close to elections). Most of the measures up for vote were pretty mundane, though there was an insane health services bill (raise taxes to fund a massive Socialized bureaucracy in healthcare? I think not!), yet another minimum wage hike, and an utterly unbelievable GM foods bill (label anything that has come into contact with genetically modified crops with a scary warning sticker, even if there are no GM materials in the final product).

OMFG, today was the first time I have ever NOT voted on every topic. I simply could not bring myself to vote for ANY of the gubernatorial candidates. Even the third parties sucked, in California. We had the now-infamous Gray Davis and Bill Simon, and then the smaller parties included a woman who wanted safety testing of all genetically enhanced foods, for California schools to lead the nation in all subject areas, and to cut taxes at the same time. We had someone who listed Gene Roddenbury as one of his favorite philosophers (I'm not kidding), and we had this guy who wanted to abolish everything from the Death Penatly to Three Strikes laws AND who wanted to de-criminalize marijuana (ostensibly illegally, because possession of marijuana is a FEDERAL crime). There was literally NO ONE who deserved my vote! It was terrible!

Yeah the repubs in CA screwed up. Most demos (including me) were itching to fire Davis. I could have voted for Riordin but not Simon. I think of lot of demos and indys could have voted for Riordin, imho.

Im okay with legalizing marijaunia but I know its moot because federal law trumps state law. Its more of a protest kind of thing.

I voted about three weeks ago with my absentee ballot. Voted against Baby Shrub, his druggie daughter, and his smuggler wife. Voted in favor of the death penalty, in favor of banning smoking, and against the freakin pigs. Don't remember the others, except for keeping the judges (I have a friend who knows some of them and said they're decent people, but I couldn't remember which, so I said keep 'em all).
