Napier
There was an earthquake here in 1931 that leveled the place. After that someone thought it would be nice to make the buildings look pretty. As a result we have parts of town that look like leftovers from the 1920s.
Overview of the city. Down in the bottom left corner is a little suburb where I live.
Place to get pissed.
Cancer factory, owned by Rothmans Tobacco.
Statue of naked chick on a pole.
Somebody decided to put case mods on the fountain.

I have a cousin in Jersey, and a bit over 10 years ago our family drove down there to visit her. Some parts of Jersey are nice, like Princeton, but most of it sucked. I remember driving through mile after mile of smelly swamps, but the worst was yet to come. It was summer, and the cold water wasn't cold, it was actually warm. How the hell can you NOT have cold tapwater??!! That sucked!!

No, most of it doesn't suck. Most of it isn't smelly swamps (where the hell did your cousin live?); most of it is suburban overpriced big houses and shops. I lived there for twelve years and we didn't have swamps and warm tapwater (you sure you aren't confused and your cousin doesn't actually live in a hunting shack in the Everglades or something?). I lived a couple miles from the Atlantic Ocean and it was BEAUTIFUL. So shut up.

Oh its a good LITTLE city, though being born and raised in Liverpool I seem to compare most places to the 'pool.
It has all the usual ameanities, but lacks the oommf of bigger and more spectacular cities.
