Maybe we can get one of the big name TV evangelists running on an independent ticket to split the southern vote? Oh c'mon...it's a good idea. Beats having the dems lean more towards the fundies. :wink:

Ahem, look at your five dollar bill. Or your penny. There's an example of a man who pulled it off.
Er..The North had more people than the South back then. Thats not as true anymore.
For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be;
Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails,
Pilots of the purple twilight dropping down with costly bales;
Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rain'd a ghastly dew
From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue;

Use the King's English next time, I don't like having to read a one-line post eight times to scare up an ounce of coherency from it. And for the record, just saying that the Democrats used the same dirty tricks as the Republicans doesn't work. Because I never saw the Democrats manipulating the national awareness system, releasing fake terror alerts, or making allusions to mysterious threats that had been posed by Iraq.

Maybe you were watching news from Bizarro world, where everything is backwards and Kerry was the fearmonger.

Tinfoil eh? The only thing I use tinfoil for is to keep my leftovers in. And yes, I'll keep it to myself. I wasn't debating if Kerry was the best candidate the dems could muster. My point is that despite popular opinion, people decided they would rather have someone in office who they feel may be less competant, but at least he's not liberal. I guess people feel they know what to expect from Bush. And yes, Dems used some scare tactics as well, but again my point was that the Reps scare tactics were BETTER.

Sudden power is apt to be insolent, sudden liberty saucy; that behaves best which has grown gradually.
