Oh. I see what you mean. Just tune it out. But that could apply to anything, which is sort of....cheap.

Even if you ignore Tingle, how can you ignore the hours of rupee gathering? And the sudden light feeling as your wallet goes from 5000 rupees to 0 and you still have two maps left to decode?

Just ignore the whole game.

I don't. The most recent Zelda game I've ever played was OoT (not counting playing the older came since). I don't play many video games, to be honest. That's Uts' job.

In Four Swords, me and a friend (two player co-op) did that on purpose, actually. We'd injure ourselves to dump large amounts of money on the screen, then pop his balloon over pits of lava, or pits of toxic goo, or drop him on the floor and dive through a door just before a massive bomb nukes the entire stage... etc

And yet... somehow... he always lives.

That would explain it, then. You're talking through your hat.

Well, although I'm not much of a game player, I am a watcher, and typically watch Uts play virtually everything. I'm very familiar with almost all aspects of games, except for exact hands-on experiance with control.

And I know how.
One of the cutscenes showed, just for a split second, an army of HUNDREDS OF TINGLES of several different colors on balloons. It was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen.
Stay far away from Four Swords

Hundreds? Hundreds of Tingles?!

I don't even want to imagine how frightening that sight must be!
As for the OP: Yeah, I saw that picture a week ago or so. It's great! The only thing missing is the text "Blades will bleed..."! Actually, it's the trailer that should've said "Tingle will bleed" and "Tingle's head will shatter".
Now if you just could do that in the Zelda'05 game... Actually, IGN had an article on that murdering Tingle should be a side-quest in the new game. I agree fully.

Perhaps Tingle is some kind of Dadaist expression, and the design teams use him to annoy the player on purpose?
