Anyway, we were not bitches!!!! The crown was in Brazil, a somewhat large country, and we had full control of the African possessions. We made a very strong defense of Lisbon and our rights when the time came. The British were far too stretched. The Portuguese on their side made a difference.
And for that matter, the guerrilla warfare of the spanish did the difference too, but, like I said earlier, spaniards are dumb and nothing good comes from there.
