The Wall is a Rock Opera, hell yes. As is Rush's 2112, which I love immensely.

I wouldn't say that, but a great deal of their stuff is influenced by it.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond is most DEFINETLY about Syd Barrett, however;by amazing coincidence he happened to drop by the studio while they were cutting the vocals.
Roger Waters recalled how he was recording this song about him, with tears running down his cheeks; meanwhile Syd was in the other room, fat, bald, and nuttier than fuck.

All of Wish You Were Here is about Syd Barret, and there are some other songs which touch on the subjects of insanity. Still, I think Wish You Were Here is the only album dedicated specifically to Syd. IMO, the rest are just influenced by the bands close association with Syd.
