No, please get started, you obviously have some serious issues with him.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Why do I have the feeling you just don't like his conclusions. Frankly he's explained the EU stuff and it doesn't mean Endor is alive. It could be dead and I honest think it is. He's made more of a case.pecker wrote:I have. He's wrong.Stormbringer wrote:Look at curtis saxtons' site. Endor is dead as a door nail.pecker wrote:Endor wasn't fucked by the debris, obviously. Anybody who believes that has too much time on their hands and/or is WAY too cynical.
Don't get me started on Saxton.
Nah, I just like that smileyHis Divine Shadow wrote:No, please get started, you obviously have some serious issues with him.
Lucas would not have made Endor with cute Ewoks if they were to die. I don't care if it's scientifically valid or not. Until Lucas says that Endor died, it's not.Stormbringer wrote:Why do I have the feeling you just don't like his conclusions. Frankly he's explained the EU stuff and it doesn't mean Endor is alive. And the EU also says Ewoks have been wiped out on Endor in Wedges Gamble.

Mmmm Ewok. The other other red meat.pecker wrote:When I was little, I LIKED the EwoksmeNNis wrote:why the hell does it matter? its just a bunch of damned ewoks people. live or die.. who cares?

Face it, if Lucas wanted the Ewoks tom live he shouldn't have blown up a big metal moon over there planet. They died, period, end of story.
It does? Quotes please, this I gotta seeSpartan wrote:Endor is Dead. In Wedges Gamble it explicitly states that the Ewok are exstinct. Unless your willing to chalk it up to imperial propaganda, the official and canon sources indicate the Endor Holocaust did happen.
This can be likely. However what about the turbolasers? Maybe it is possible to intentionally make them dissipate, although there is no reason for them to do sopecker wrote:Explain this:Stormbringer wrote:Mmmm Ewok. The other other red meat.pecker wrote: When I was little, I LIKED the Ewoks

If the Ewoks were going to die, what was up with the celebration? No one at the party seemed at all concerned that chunks of metal miles wide was going to flatten the planet.
I say the Rebels tractored/vaporized any dangerous pieces of debris before they impacted the planet.
Watch the ROTJ briefing, the shield protecting the DS does NOT circle both the DS and Endor.Spartan wrote:There was only one shield by the way, and it encircles both the Deathstar and Endor. And the rebel blew it the hell up, remember.

No, but had they have a reserve shield the Ewoks there could of used it as cover.Sardaukar wrote:Watch the ROTJ briefing, the shield protecting the DS does NOT circle both the DS and Endor.Spartan wrote:There was only one shield by the way, and it encircles both the Deathstar and Endor. Except they probably bugged out eventually. The Empire staggered along for a while afterwards, the riots were put down. They'd have time to make some propoganda, especially such a gift like that.pecker wrote:That quote makes little sense. The Emprie crumbled after Endor, so obviously Ewoks were alive then. Why would they take time to make an Ewok display, considering there was rioting in the streets. How would they come across such information, considering Endor was under Rebel control?

"Several displays did provide notation that this planet or that animal had been made extinct on their native worlds by "outlaws and malcontents," and included among such beast were Ewoks-and Imperial taxidermists had taken great pains to make them seem helpless and even more cute then they were in real life. However, despite such propagandistic comments, the displays were impressive and reminded Wedge there was much more to the Empire then he'd consciously acknowledged before."
Same book deals with that. The rioting was put down with automatic E-11 fire. The planet has hundreds of trillions of people, we saw a a matter of thousands rioting.pecker wrote:That quote makes little sense. The Emprie crumbled after Endor, so obviously Ewoks were alive then. Sorry, Ewoks still existSea Skimmer wrote:Same book deals with that. The rioting was put down with automatic E-11 fire. Perhaps the repulsor device he says is neccessary to keep Endor in its close geosynchronous orbit was not located in combination with the shield generator, and was siezed by the Rebels and used to "push" the debris away from Endor? If it could've held the whole DS in orbit....Stormbringer wrote:It's possible and I'd like to believe it but there's no much of an argument to it. The best you've got is the Tydyrium passing through a shield and the EU. Neither is overwhelimng evidence in favor of a healthy Endor.Sardaukar wrote:To hell with Saxton's Endor Holocaust. Of course, but they still exist. It's just the Endor population was wiped out along with the bulk of their species.pecker wrote:Sorry, Ewoks still existSea Skimmer wrote:Same book deals with that. It's possible but they'd still have to fight the garrison to a stand still in time to get it clear fast enough and they m ight not have been able to.Illuminatus Primus wrote:Perhaps the repulsor device he says is neccessary to keep Endor in its close geosynchronous orbit was not located in combination with the shield generator, and was siezed by the Rebels and used to "push" the debris away from Endor? EG Aliens and Creatures has a healthy Endor years after ROTJ. Saxton looses.Stormbringer wrote:It's possible and I'd like to believe it but there's no much of an argument to it. Recolonization is certainly a possibilty. I doubt the Republic would be able not to.Ender wrote:EG Aliens and Creatures has a healthy Endor years after ROTJ.
