I think it's more likely that he uses the Force to alter his appearence in a way that works even for recording devices. That's a much simpler answer.
Concerning this fat thing, I just looked through the trailer, and Sideous doesn't look fat to me whatsoever. In the "Every single Jedi..." shot, his robes to seem a bit puffy, so that might be it.

if it's possible that is, Also does Palpatine need to use mind control to hide his true personality as I have all ready Darth Sidious in TPM and AOTC doesn't look the same as post revelation ROTS Palpy.

I can only get the bare minimum of what you're saying, Revan, but I can tell that it's just redundant.

I'll try to clearer
1. As far as I know there's no example of regular of Force users affecting electronic devices in any other ways then disruping and/or destroying them
2. Darth Sidious doesn't look as "old" as in ROTS and later in TPM and AOTC so it might there's some reason why converts into his corrupted form in ROTS.

In TPM/AOTC it's pretty obvious that it's just Ian McDiarmid sans makeup in the Sidious robes-- you can tell by the chin and nose, easily. So for further subterfuge perhaps Palpatine used his 'clean' look while wearing the robes during communications? Yet that would indicate Dooku et al knew about Palpatine=Sidious.... so... er... *shrugs*

If I recall, the Doppleganger manifestation is visible to recording devices.

I thought their knowledge of such was a given.

so it would in sense creating a Force "hologram" to cover the true form of a person?

In that case, it might be plausible, though one would presume Nute Gunray and the Separatists would have known about someone as high-profile as Palpatine.

true, but only Dooku and he's apprentices are Force users, the Rest are non-Force users so they might have block in their mind that prevent them from "connecting the dots".

Not really like a hologram.
In case you're not familiar with the Doppleganger skill, Luke used it in
Dark Empire to make Han and Leia think that he had left Byss with them while he actually remained to confront Palpatine. A Doppleganger looks exactly like a real person, to both the eye and to sensors, and can even interact with objects and be touched, yet vanishes when the Force user breaks the connection or if it's injured.

Or maybe they just couldn't recognise him from just the bottom portion of his face.

well quite close anyway, there's the problem that Sidious probaly use this only when he's in his hideout in Corusant.

That works, I suppose... after all, the Separatists are largely alien (IIRC), so yeah, I can see them not being able to recognize humans that easily.

See? Rational thought works so much better than the dartboard.

I don't see a problem.

that's Possible, I think we don't the species of separtists recognice people or how well can tell humans apart.

Yes, but I wouldn't be so quick to chalk it up to involving the alien connection and a lack of telling humans apart. it could have a simpler basis in that they just couldn't make the connection.
It's too easy for us, since we already know that they're the same person. It's my opinion that knowledge such as this actually interferes with theorising.

Assuming that Sidious has always looked the same and does use a trick look like normal human, have use this trick hide his true form when not in hideout. (that's why I think that sidious look like a normal person during TPM and AOTC)

So years of corruption occur in only three years?
I think they were just saving the Emperor makeup until EIII.

BTW it's convinient that none of the leaders of the members of the CIS are a humanoid.

no, but it's just not strong enough to look unnatural (spoilers)
(IIRC) palpatine doesn't transform until after he has engaded MAce Windu and co., so the force use there might explain the drastic trasformation. Anyway we don't know for sure until ROTS is out.

I don't think it's a sudden transformation, it's been desribed as being more of a reveal.
I still stand my ground that they were just saving the corruption make up until now.

Well the whole thing is anyway pointless until ROTS is out.

RotS Spoilers!!! Palp's face is deformed by deflected Sith Lightning, courtesy of Master Windu. It may seem a bit more swollen in certain scenes due to swelling right after the injury, swelling which would go down over time and only leave the loose scar tissue as seen in RotJ

I think you're interpreting that statement from the VD wrong. The VD also says his face is that way from anger. It seems more likely that deflected Force lightning dropped his disguise.
Making it some kind of injury is absurd. Some of you are starting to try my patience.
