What if Leia had arrived on Tatooine?

She could have been sent in reaction to Owen's resistance to Ben's first effort to train Luke. Tatooine, like Dagobah, would be perfect out of the way places to train a Jedi.

Wouldn't it have been easier to train Leia in secret on Alderaan? Considering that her dad was able to run guns and money for the alliance from Alderaan why not have Obi Wan there training her.

Obi Wan could have trained Luke on Tatooine. It always seemed to me that the problem with Anakin is that he was trained too old to be a Jedi. So what does Obi Wan and Yoda do? Train Luke even older than Anakin was trained.

i guess they thought 2 wrongs make a right. Well also you have to remember Yoda thought he was to old "Too Old, too old to begin the training"

maby Obi Wan and Yoda were really just waiting for an opertunity for the 2 of htem to take on the Emporer themselves and they just hid Luke and Leia because if they were found they could be turned into Sith. Maby there really is no plan to train Luke or Leia
