I think I may have stumbled upon a new hobby: building spotting.
EDIT: Oh, and bing bong:
I see the black Mercedes, but I can't tell if there's any evidence of the addition on the east side of the house, so the survey of that portion of Cedar Rapids is at the most about two years old. I'd have to get some input from Uts to help figure it out...

Datana already posted that.
Personally, I prefer something I don't have to download and isn't a HD/cache hog.
Not to mention something my computer could actually run...

Oh god I can see myself skinny dipping in a friend's pool!
Well, not quite, but two more zoom levels and it would be true.

Image of my town is at least 2 years old, because all the new subdivisions near my house are still the sandy colour of construction, and the area where a huge new road has just been build is still forest.

There was already a thread on this, I believe. I mentioned that clouds above my house prevent me from seeing it. I found my school though.
EDIT: The other thread is
Spying on Area 51, in OT.

I'm dissapointed that I can't spot my cows. Lazy bastards were probably under some trees or something.

The resolution on my appartment building isn't that good, but I can see my parents' house, identifiable by the unusual-shaped swimming pool.

Commercial satelites don't go below 1m resolution. Best you'd be able to see would be a pink 2 pixel blob.

That's definitely a trip. Although Huntsville hasn't been updated in roughly four years I believe. I know by the mall that's still under construction, there's still that rental house by where I work, and my banks new building isn't up yet. It might be circa 2002 possible. Maybe a bit older. Not by much though. Still it's sweet as shit. I was able to find the house we're in now.

Heh, I've just been scrolling all over my area, tracing all the places I've been, I should post pictures of the coolest places to check out in my area, like Stunt Road or MaDa Point. It was also cool tracing my way all along Mulholland Highway to PCH out to Oxnard....
